Helping your young ones to write.Paragraph writing

Paragraph writing

Paragraph writing is an art to express yourself. Before beginning to write paragraphs we must be thorough with the sentence builders. The first thing is the topic. Select a topic. Think about ten things related to the topic .Then start writing first thing first followed by the less important ones. For example
MY HOUSE
Think of the things that can best describe your house.
  1. Location of your house
  2. Type of house
  3. Number of rooms in your house
  4. Your favorite room (details)
  5. A garden if any
  6. Close the paragraph with a beautiful sentence like ( My home is the best place in the universe)
My house
I live in a house built with red bricks and having green roof tiles. It is medium in size with two bedrooms .It is comfortable and spacious for my family. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. My parents occupy the large bedroom and I share the smaller one with my sister. The third bedroom is a spare one used by the visitors. The sitting room and kitchen with a store and study are downstairs. The store has been converted into my playroom and is truly my provenance. The sitting room is mostly used to entertain guests. My mother says that the kitchen is her territory. We have a neat lawn with a hedge in front. My father claims this as his provenance but I too tend it at times. I always feel comfortable in my mini paradise.

My Mother
My mother is a marvelous lady and a wonderful human. Her name is Chitra but her Dad calls her Chinky. I call her mummy. She is medium in size, fair with long brown hair. She is simple but highly educated. My mother is a wonderful cook and a great house keeper. She teaches me the lessons of life and at times even plays with me. My mother tells bedtime stories to my sister and me. Sometimes she even gets angry on us. She is fond of reading books and calls them her best friends. She is also fond of meditation and Indian classical music. My mother is my best guide and teacher. I respect and adore my mother.

He hovered around me day and night I looked at him once but without delight He lingered around my abode I thought an idiot at work No learning, no teaching were his style to me His life I governed that never occurred to me It was his first love not my…. I loved the school bell, I loved the temple I loved the sparrows that visited my home I loved the thick pine and fir I loved to hum like a humming bird I loved all that nature could give One thing I missed was the love of his… So off he went with a heavy heart And before that just to start He startled me by passing his love to me Through a few friends or relatives I ho

Letter of Abraham Lincoln to his son's teacher.

He will have to learn, I know that all men are not just, all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero; that for every selfish politician there is a dedicated leader. Teach him that for every enemy there is a friend. It will take time I know; but teach him, if u can that a dollar earned is of far more value than five found. teach him to learn to lose and also to enjoy winning. In school teach him that it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat. Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him they are wrong.Teach him to be gentle with the gentle and tough with the tough. Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone is getting on a bandwagon.Teach him to listen to all men; but teach him also to filter all that he hears on the screen of truth and take only the good that comes through. Teach him if u can how to laugh when he is sad. Teach him there is no shame in tears.Teach him to scoff at cynics and
